Hello everyone,
This is my first blog post for my Intro to Media Studies class! I’m taking RTF 305 to hopefully learn about all of the different aspects of mass media. I’m interested in mass media’s ability to essentially alter every aspect of our lives. It has an influence over our economy, our politics, and even our culture. Over the past couple of years it seems that the forerunner in new media is the Internet. It’s a relatively new tool being embraced by essentially everyone – even adorable kittens (http://tinyurl.com/53awv8). I hope to learn about mass media from different perspectives and analyze its developments.
